Shortly after his birth in Sweden, his family immigrated to the USA where he lived in Massachusetts until he relocated to California around 1930. He first married Ona Davis, then Mable Moreno. Both marriages ended in divorce with no children.
In 1955 he married Ruth Muriel (Fite) Elder. They had one daughter, Tracy. They divorced in 1967. In 1973 Albert married Anna Martinson. Then in 1976 he married Viola Hirsch.
Albert was 91 years old when he passed away in Prescott, AZ. He is buried next to Viola in Santa Anna, CA.
