Con Fisher, 79, of 1029 Lind St., Wenatchee, former Cashmere and Leavenworth resident died in a Wenatchee hospital, on Sunday, January 16. He was born Sept, 12, 1892 in Wabash, Ind., and came Malaga in 1907, then moved to Cashmere. He married Sadie Howerton on Dec. 28, 1915, in Wenatchee, and they lived Cashmere before moving Leavenworth, where he worked for the Mottler Orchards. During the war he worked in the shipyards in Kingston, returning to Leavenworth to work in the city and on power pole construction until he was injured in 1950. He moved to Wenatchee in 1966.
Surviving are his wife, of Wenatchee; two daughters.
Don Whitmire, East Wenatchee, Lola Bustert, Okanogan; sons, Edwin, San Fernando, Ca., and Mel of East Wenatchee; grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Don McCumber, Tacoma, Mrs. Kenneth Wilson, Bothell, Mrs. A Crosier, Leavenworth, one brother, Ed Fisher of Seattle. He was preceded In death a daughter, Bernice Carpenter in 1951.
Services will be held Jan. 20, at 2 p.m., at the Braun Funeral Chapel. Rev. R. J. Carlson will officiate.
He will be buried at Wenatchee Cemetery.
