Mrs. Louella May Berry, age 71, wife of Clarence Berry, well known farmer of near Brick Chapel, north of Greencastle, in Putnam County, died at 7 o'clock, Friday morning, in the Greencastle hospital. Mrs. Berry had been ill 2 weeks.
Sister of Dr. W. T. Linn, dentist, of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Berry was born east of Crawfordsville in the Mace neighborhood. She was the daughter of Joseph R. Linn and Mary E. Linn, pioneers in that community.
Mr. and Mrs. Berry had resided for 39 years in the neighborhood of Brick Chapel, where Mr. Berry was prominent as a farmer. Mrs. Berry was a member of the Brick Chapel Methodist church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Berry is survived by their daughter, Mrs. Edith Scobe of Greencastle.
Mrs. Berry was one in a family of 11 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Linn. Three brothers and 2 sisters survive. Surviving brothers besides Dr. Linn, are Henry C. Linn, of new Ross, and Uzal W. Linn, of Kansas City. Surviving sisters are Mrs. Fannie Conner, of Linnsburg, and Mrs. Jesse Armantrout, of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services in Mrs. Berry's memory will be held at the Rector funeral home in Greencastle at 2 o'clock, Sunday
