Mrs. Sarah Adams, 91, widow of the late Harry Adams, 434 Cumberland St., died suddenly of a heart attack about 11 p. m. Friday, at the home of her daughter, Miss Kay Adams. A daughter of the late John Landis and Sarah Hoover Landis, of Lebanon, she was the last of her family. She belonged to Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church. She leaves two daughters, Kay, with whom she lived, and Mrs. R. B. Evans, Oak Grove, Va., and three sons, Amos, of Lebanon, Paul of Lancaster, and John, of Ohio, in addition to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News, January 20, 1962]
