On April 16, 1932, the angel of death visited the home of Mr. L. P. Fuson and took from the family his beloved wife, Mrs. Elizabeth N. Fuson.
Before her marriage Mrs. Fuson was a member of one of the most prominent families in the county and was the daughter of one of the best citizens in the county who was known far and wide as "Uncle Dick" McGinness a member of Predestinated Baptist Church on Holmes Creek and had been a minister in that Church for many years at the time of his death.
Mrs. Fuson was born October 28, 1868, and died on April 6, 1932, aged 63 years, 5 months and eight days. She was married to Mr. Lemuel P. Fuson more than forty years ago and as a result of their marriage, they had born to them seven sons and two daughters, six sons and one daughter, beside her husband, surviving her.
Funeral services were held at the Bonham Cemetery by Brother Jerry Mullican of White County, who had been her pastor for several years.
