Clara L. Goad, 91, of Roanoke, VA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Goad; also her son, Kenneth "Red" Goad; and a daughter, Barbara L. Goad. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn G. Law (Ronnie (Mackie)), and Linda Goad; grandchildren, Kimberly Goad, Curtis Goad, and Tracy G. White (Mark); greatgrandson, Corey S. White; and honorary grandchildren, Pamela Patton, Tanya Santana (Milton), and Rhonda Bradford. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their help and the relatives and friends for their prayers, money, food, cards and wonderful visits. Cryptside services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Sherwood Burial Park, Salem with the Rev. Charles "Chip" Doyle officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, VA.
