Fordyce - Hugh Edward Dedman, 72, of Fordyce, a director of the Fordyce Bank & Trust Company here for 32 years, died Tuesday at the Dallas County Hospital here. Mr. Dedman was a past chairman of the Dallas County Draft Board. He was a retired mail carrier, and a member of the American Legion, a Mason and a Baptist. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Helen Jordan Dedman; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ruth Abbott of Crossett and Mrs. Charlotte Ferguson of Fordyce; a brother, R. E. Dedman of Camden; three sisters, Mrs. H. A. Jones and Mrs. Albert Naylor, both of Fordyce, and Mrs. Dartis Hudson of California, and Four grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at Benton Funeral Home by Reverend Cline D. Ellis.
