Sarah Jane (Graham) Stuart was daughter of James B. and Elizabeth (Loy) Graham. Sarah's mother was James' first wife, who died not long after the 1834 birth of Sarah's brother DeKalb Graham and before J.B.'s 1836 remarriage. Her place of burial is unknown. At time of marriage to J.B., Sarah's mother was recently divorced from Henry Edward Caley, the first divorce recorded in Morgan Co., AL. Sarah's mother was sister to my ancestor John Henry Loy.
