Adam's grave has not been found (yet) in Coshocton County, Ohio but I have added it here to connect the family together.
Adam's first wife, Hannah is buried here at Mt Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. She died in 1849. There is a large open area beside Hannah's grave and Adam could be there but there is no record found yet.

Adam was born in Pennsylvania in abt 1815. He served in the 3rd Regt. from Coshocton County in the War with Mexico in 1846-47.
Adam purchased and operated Boyd's Mill, a grist mill near Chili, Ohio in Coshocton county for a short time and he was also the postmaster for that area.
Adam married twice and I have not found the grave of the second wife, Margaret, yet either.
Between the two marriages Adam had 13 children. In August of 1872, George Washington Gardner was killed in an accidental shooting accident and Adam died only a few months later. G. W. Gardner was only 19 at the time and Adam was present at the shooting.

I have not found an obituary or grave but we are still searching. Check back here again for any updates (hopefully soon to come).
