Margaret Irene Burton, 69, of Fort Smith, formerly of Lavaca, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at a local hospital.
She was a homemaker and the widow of Keith Burton.

Graveside service was Dec. 31 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by a daughter, Dolly Zabrdac of Fort Smith; two sons, Kevin Burton of Cameron and Brian Burton of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
