Perry Eddie Livingston was the son of Jacob and Cora (Judd) Livingston.

He had the following siblings:

Perry was raised in the Green Castle and Green City areas. He received his education in the Kidville, Beull, and Boonehill rural schools. He worked for farmers in the Green City, LaPlata, and Macon communities.

On June 18, 1934 in Milan, Missouri, he married Sylvia Annis Stiles. They had 5 children:

In 1954, Perry and his family moved to Kirksville, Adair County, Missouri where he worked as a carpenter on the Dee Riley Funeral Home. When the remodeling was complete, Perry was hired by the Dee Riley Funeral Home where he worked for 7 years. He then started his own removeling company which he worked at for 35 years while also owning several rental properties. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Kirksville and was a lay pastor, preaching at several full gospel churches in the area.

Perry was divorced from his first wife, and on August 13, 1979, in Milan, Missouri he married Doris (Johnson) Giachino. From this marriage, he gained a step-daughter:

Genita (Giachino) Helm.

Perry was an exceptional gardener, raising, preserving, and selling vegetables. He enjoyed woodworking, raising chickens and calves, and feeding birds and squirrels in feeders he built. He and his wife Doris also ran a child day care from their large home for several years.

Perry had a wonderful sense of humor and loved teasing everyone.

Perry suffered a long illness, being bedridden at his home, but he was lovingly taken care of by his wife Doris and his nurse Kathryn Williams.

Perry had nineteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
