Edward Lee Morgan, a native of Sardis, Mississippi and resident of Baker, was born on October 20, 1928 to S. Arleigh Morgan and Sara Caldwell Morgan. He passed away September 23, 2010. He was a retired building contractor and a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Wisner High School and attended Northeast Louisiana State College, Monroe.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Doris Logue Morgan; one son, Douglas Morgan and wife Leah, Norwood; one daughter, Elaine Higgins and husband Jeffery, Baker; ten grandchildren: Blake Williams and wife Anje', Walker; Ryan Williams, Portland, Oregon; Todd Williams, New Orleans; Tess Williams, Baker; Natalie Burns and husband Alain, Maryville, Tennessee; Adrien VanZee and husband Nicholas, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; Nathan Morgan and wife Esther, Baton Rouge; Logan Morgan, Norwood; Wesley Morgan, Norwood; Olivia Morgan, Norwood; and six great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers: Jerry Morgan, Glen Morgan, Philip Morgan and Bruce Morgan; one sister, Peggie McManus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Robert Morgan; Richard Morgan and Charles "Tommy" Morgan; and one sister, Bettye Talbert.

Visiting at Bethany World Prayer Center 13855 Plank Road, Baker, until services, conducted by Reverend Garlin Mizell. Interment following in church cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
