NOXAPATER DEPARTMENT MRS. R.H. GLENN, CORRESPONDENT
Death of Mrs. Belle Gordon
Funeral services were held here at the Methodist church Tuesday
afternoon for Mrs. Belle Gordon of Memphis, a former resident of
our town, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray
after a lingering illness.
Services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. A.L. Davenport,
assisted by Rev.
Burkes, pastor of the High* church (this should be Might).
interment
was in the Ackerman cemetery with Hays & McLain of Philadelphia in
charge.
Surviving are five sons, Henry wells and Ed wells of Noxapater,
Doyle,
w.c. and Meek wells of Pascagoula and a daughter, Mrs. Guy Ray
of Memphis.
The sympathy of their many friends is extended.(4)
