Mrs. Pauline Lena Blades, 74, of Johnson Rd., was found dead Saturday in her mobile home by a son, Franklin Ehinger of Salisbury.
It was believed that she died sometime Friday evening.
According to her family, a gas stove was turned on in the mobile home. An official cause of death was not given of late Saturday.
Mrs. Blades was born on Hooper's Island, a daughter of the late Walter and Emma C. White Hooper. Her first husband, Joseph William Ehinger died in 1937. Her second husband was William E. Blades, who died about 10 years ago.
Surviving are another son, J. W. Ehinger Jr., Delmar; seven grandchildren; eight great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Holloway Funeral Home. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery.
