LOCAL RESIDENT SUCCUMBS AT 84

Lincoln Porter died in McMinnville March 22 at the age of 84 years, 6 months, and 17 days. He was a resident of this city, born September 5, 1865 at McCoy. He was a retired plumber.

His wife, Louise, preceded him in death April 7, 1936.

Survivors included two sons, Nile, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Col. Dale Porter, Missoula, Mont.; sisters, Mrs. Eva Dickey, Sheridan, Mrs. Amy Thompson, Seattle, and Mrs. Ona Buchanan, McMinnville. Also six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive.

Rites were conducted at the chapel of Macy and Son Saturday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. with interment following in the Evergreen Memorial park.
