He was a farmer and a member of Marlow Church of Christ in Walnut. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with Bro. Harold McKeel officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Church of Christ Cemetery in Walnut. Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Smith of Corinth, and Deloris Talley and her husband, Thomas, of Walnut; one son, Harold Campbell, and his wife, Inez, of Booneville; two sisters, Amye Richardson of Germantown, Tenn., and Audrey Seago of Senatobia; one brother, Junious L. Campbell of Walnut; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Ann Barber Campbell, and his parents, George W. and Ora Jane Ray Campbell."
