Elizabeth Baird and George Alexander Miller were married January 26, 1876 in the Wroxeter Presbyterian Church, Wroxeter, Ontario, Canada where both families worshipped. They remained in the Howick Township area for a few years before moving to Prince Albert, The Territories later known as Saskatchewan. The family had been in the Gorrie/Bluevale area during the 1888 holiday season when George passed away and he is buried in the same cemetery as his family in Bluevale, Huron County, Ontario. Elizabeth and George had children Minnie Alberta, Elizabeth "Ollie" Oliver, Margaret "Maggie", Mabel, Grace (d. 1901), and George Robert (d. 1908). After the death of her husband, Elizabeth and her children lived at the Baird farm in Howick Township. In 1909 Elizabeth married Harry Raines, a life long family friend and moved to Lodi, California. Elizabeth and Harry made numerous trips to Canada to visit brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren. Elizabeth is buried next to Marilla Raines, Harry's first wife and long time friend of the Baird family.
