Deceased had been ailing somewhat these last few years, and last fall consulted with doctors at Rochester, Minn. His ailment was diagnosed as cancer from which sickness he gradually failed. The two and one-half weeds he was unable to be up and around and endured much suffering. On Sunday evening, May 31, 1931, he passed away to his eternal reward.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Carrie Legried Hanson, and sons Almer, Marven, Kenneth, John, Melvin, Harold, and Marcus; also five brothers, Tom Mathias, Hans, William and Andrew.
Mr. Hanson was endowed with a friendly cheerful disposition and had many warm personal friends outside the immediate community where he lived.
