A native of Mayfield, Ill., she lived in Palm City for 10 years. She moved here from Amherst, N.Y.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Joseph Acheson of Palm City; four daughters, Pamela Reider of Stuart, Suzanne Ryan and husband John of Tonawanda, N.Y., Stacy Acheson of Amherst and Lori Acheson of Palm City; a brother, Cal Braun and wife Sharon of Hamburg, N.Y.; three sisters, Gloria Vecchio and husband Daniel of East Amherst, N.Y., Bonnie Firestone and husband Joe and Carlette Braun; and five grandchildren.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
