He was killed in a logging accident.
Funeral Services were conducted September 20 th. at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel in Morehead, Kentucky, with the Rev. Gayle Price and L. C. Moore officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Gilliam, Brent Gilliam, Tim Gilliam, Raymond Purnell, Dick Stevens, Jay Purnell Marlin Jones and Joey Robinson.
