Morton Man Dies In City Saturday
George R. New, 48, a grocer of Morton, Cochran county, died in a local sanitarium Saturday after an illness of about ten days.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First Baptist church at Sudan, with the pastor, Rev. Vernie Pipes, officiating. Burial will be there.
Mr. New had been in poor health for several months. He is survived by his wife, a son, W. J. New of Sudan and a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Jackson, Morton. Both of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John New, Littlefield; and four brothers, Roy New
