She was from Arkansas. My g/father married her when he was there working on the railroad. My father and his brother Spence were born in Perryville, Ark and then they moved to PA where my g/father was from. Pittsfield area. My g/father was killed by the East End Store in Youngsville by a hit and run driver. My g/mother for years worked as cook at the Rouse Home. She had her own apartment at the Rouse. She was an employee, not a patient. This was when we were kids in Youngsville. I used to go with my family and have dinner with her on some Sundays.
She attended a finishing school in Ark. She was a very proper lady.
