Obituary in The St. Paul Pioneer Press, 26 Aug 1997: "Donahugh, Don J., age 82. Born on February 4, 1915, died August 25, 1997 in the company of his family after a long illness. Survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; daughters Mary Kay Perron & husban Bill, of Burnsville, Donna Strickland & husband John, of St. Paul; son Donald Donahugh & partner Phil Johnson, of St. Paul; grandchildren, Michael Perron, of Dallas, TX, Shannon Perron, of Burnsville, and Benjamin Strickland, of St. Paul; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Don was a lifetime resident of St. Paul and was well known in the clothing business in the Highland Park Community for many years. He was an avid reader, enjoyed following politics and watching sports, but mostly loved spending time and being with his family. Visitation 6-7:30 PM Thursday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church... Mass of Christian Burial 7:30 PM immediately following the visitation. Private interment...."
