James Garland Blair, Sr., 57, died at his home, 524 Pierce early today.
Before his retirement last December, Mr. Blair had been a clerk at the Dutton Farm Store. He was a veteran of both World Wars and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons James Garland Blair, Jr. and Arthur Brinkmire both of Denton; his mother, Mrs. T. B. Blair of Dallas; two sisters Mrs. Hattie Busby of Corona, California and Mrs. Selma Lee of Dallas; one brother George C. Blair of South San Gabriel, California and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with Schmitz-Floyd-Hamlett Funeral Home.
