Death of Mrs. W.A. Akers.

Mrs. W.A. Akers died on Monday, the 19th, at her home in Brush Creek township, and was buried at the Akersville cemetery on Wednesday 21st. Her age was about 71 years. Her husband, West Asa Akers, died about five years ago.

Mrs. Akers was a daughter of Ephraim Hinson. Surviving her are the following sisters: Mrs. Harvey Akers, of Akersville; Mrs. Hanks, of Emmaville; Mrs. N.J. Jackson, of Everett, and one brother, Amos Hinson. The following children also survive her: Erastus, Frank, Charles, Frances, and Jennie, of Kansas; Elliott H. of Bethel township; Hinson E., and Minnie of Bedford county, and Lerue, of Iowa. One son, Alvah, of Licking Creek township, preceded her to the Spirit land.
