She was born on July 2, 1908 in Silverton, Texas. She was a Real Estates Broker in Sherman Oaks, California prior to her retirement to Eugene in 1960.
Her hobbies included gardening, square dancing, and she enjoyed rock hounding. She was a member of the Eugene Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include two brothers, Howard Self of Eugen, Errol Self of Goodman, Missouri; one sister, Iola Martin of Waggoner, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial was at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
