Death of Charles E. Wilson
Charles E. Wilson died in Chicago May first after a lingering illness aged seventy-seven years.
He leaves an aged wife and four daughters Mrs. Allie Sampson, Mrs. Mattie Bowker, Mrs. May Robinson, Mrs. Grace Peterson.
Following his aged gather in death was Charles his only son, who died Friday, May 2 at the age of forty-seven years. The double funeral was held Monday at Oswego; burial in the Na-AU-SAY Cemetery.
The elder Mr. Wilson was a brother to Dewitt Wilson and leaves ten grand-children and five great grandchildren to mourn his loss. The family lived some years ago, on what is now the Alfred Heap farm. They were good neighbors. May old friends attended the funeral.
Mr. Wilson was married to Miss Emily Smith in May, 1862 and they celebrated their golden wedding last year.
