Lillian Harban 87, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St, A memorial reception will immediately follow the service.

Lillian was born September 27, 1920 to William and Mattie Lowe of Des Moines. She was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was part of the Senior Victims Assistance Team. Lillian enjoyed cooking, square dancing, reading and spending time with her family and her dog Sophie.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter Nancy {Bruce} Peters; sons Joe (Linda} Harban and Bob (Kristine) Harban; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wesley.
