The obituary for Mrs. Ruth Curry stated that she had died Dec. 30, [1952], four days before her 95th birthday. She was born Jan. 3, 1858, in Shelby county, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Crockett Blythe. She married Frank Curry and he died in 1900. She was a member of the Central Christian church of Decatur and had lived in Decatur the last 28 years. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Arthur B. Curry of Decatur and J. J. Curry of Windsor. A son, Walter, preceded her in death, as did one brother and three sisters. She also leaves four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Ash Grove Cemetery. Windsor Gazette 8 Jan 1953
