State University in 1961 with a Master's Degree in Home Economics Education. She taught High School Home Economics until she retired. She also belongs to a Garden Club, Federated Women's Club, the Eastern Star, YJf.C.A., Home Economists in Homemaking, American Home Economics Assoc. (and Miss.), Counselor for Y-Teens and 4-H Club and Miss. State Alumni.
