William (Bill) Davis, 87, son of the late Oscar and Manervia Davis, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Five Rivers Medical Center.

He was preceded by his parents; two brothers, Alvin and Leon Davis; and one sister, Faye Carter.

He is survived by his wife Minnie Davis of the home; one daughter, Cathy Thompson of McKinney, Texas; two granddaughters, Christy Lemay of Farmersville, Texas, and Haley Presley of Scotland; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Frank Davis of Walnut Ridge; and three sisters, Stella Toye of Mena, Dorothy Decker of Walnut Ridge and Irene Kerley of Pocahontas.

Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
