TERRELL - Dave Ablowich Jr. of Terrell and former resident of Greenville, died Thursday afternoon here.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Anderson-Clayton Chapel with Rev. J.M. Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Memorial Park.

He was born in Commerce May 15, 1904. The family moved to Greenville where he graduated from school in 1921. He attended Texas A&M College and Tyler Commercial College where he taught radio and operated the broadcasting station. Mr. Ablowich returned to Greenville in 1923 where he built and operated radio station KEPM. He was also associated with his father's business, the New Furniture Company. He later moved to Dallas and Nebraska before returning to Terrell.

Connected with the Federal Communications Commission and was transferred to the Measure Standards Bureau during the war. He retired during Jaunary 1963.

Mr. Ablowich as a member of the Presbyterian Church, Terrell Rotary Club and Engineers Club of Nebraska. He married Miss Carrie Latimer on Aug. 9, 1925 and she survives.

Other survivors are a son, James Ablowich of Austin; one sister, Mrs. E.G. McGeorge Surgeon of Fort Worth; two brothers, William James Ablowich of Commerce and Edgar Allen Ablowich of Cheyenne, Wyo., and one aunt, Gertrude Ablowich of Dallas.
