The funeral of Lawrence E. Wise, formerly employed at night on the Madison Bridge, took place yesterday afternoon from Dunning's undertaking chapel, and interment was in Lone Fir cemetery. Services were under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity, Mr. Wise had been a member of the order for 51 years, and was 73 years old. In and about Portland he had lived for 29 years, and was highly accepted.
