His bio below was provided by his Mom:

Brad was born in California and we moved to Oregon when he was 6. He was raised in Tigard and Wilsonville and attended school there. He attended West Linn and Wilsonville High School.

His passion was playing guitar. His Dad bought him his dream Fender Bass on his 21st birthday. That guitar was his pride and joy.

Brad had two girls, Megan and Kara, and he loved them alot. He became a father at the age of 17 when Megan was born. This had him growing up faster than he would have liked, but he adored his little girl. Megan looks just like him. They enjoyed many deep conversations about life and growing up and what mistakes not to make. She misses him dearly. Kara came along 8 years later and adored her Daddy. They shared many laughs and teasing. He was the only one who could brush her curly hair just right.

He had a wicked sense of humor and we were two peas in a pod that way. There was lots of laughter throughout his life and all his friends still talk about it and him. He was planning the ultimate prank on his Dad just before his death.

Brad loved his job as VMI driver. He considered his co-workers at Oregon Bolt to be his second family. He was regarded highly and very well liked there. He always said that they were the best people to work for, and even at his young age he planned on working for them forever. He made some great friends while there, one being his boss whom he considered a Father figure. He is greatly missed by them.

Brad was the first Grandchild and Nephew in the family and my only child so he was loved like there was no tomorrow. He was so well mannered and people always complimented him/us on that. He was a great all around guy to hang with and always had a friend's back and offered any help he could. If you needed something you called Brad and he was there.

The flip side of that is he discovered alcohol later in his life and he and his wife became too dependent on living that life style, which of course was the beginning of the end for him.

On the night that Brad died I was at the hospital all night with his wife and friends along with a detective and I was talking with the detective and I stopped and I told him that he (Brad) had just killed himself....we were so close I could just feel it...I can't explain what it was I just knew. Months later I found out that he did die at exactly 3am when I said....very bizarre.

We moved his wife and children into our home and they are still with us. We talk about Brad all the time with his girls and watch movies, look at photos and tell stories and laugh so they will always remember their Daddy as the sweetheart that he was.

Cause of death: suicide ------- During a domestic incident Brad fired his shotgun in their apt. His wife was hit by ricochet and ran from the apt. to get help. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The police tried to convince Brad that his wife was not seriously hurt, but he wouldn't believe them. A few hours later he took his own life.
