Mr. Wendell F. Martin, 64 year old Heyburn resident, died Wednesday June 10th at the university Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes. He was born Oct. 25, 1905 at Marion, Idaho the son of William G. and Clara Hendrick Martin. He attended school at Marion. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He married Carma DeLaTorre on Oct. 22, 1962 in Boise, Idaho. They have lived in the Burley and Heyburn area since their marriage. Surviving are his widow of Heyburn; one son Wendell Martin Jr. and one daughter Clara Martin both at home in Heyburn. Also surviving are six step-children - Mrs. Rosa Stone of Burley, Idaho; Mike DeLaTorre serving with the armed forces in Viet Nam; Salina, Tony, Ozzie, and Ernest DeLaTorre all at home in Heyburn. Three Brothers: Elmer Martin of McCammon, Idaho; Ross Martin Ely, Nevada; Phil Martin of Wendell, Idaho; Four Sisters: Mrs. Clara Snowball of Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Reva Morris of Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Kleone Comadera of San Francisco, California, and Mrs. Agnes Matthews of Burley, Idaho.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by the Payne Mortuary of Burley.
