Morrisdale - Mildred H. Steiner, 78, of Morrisdale R.D., died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at 5 p.m. at the Clearfield Hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1917 in Morrisdale R.D., she was the daughter of Emmitte "Peck" Boyd and Anna Mae (Hoover) Hubler. Mrs. Steiner was a member of Woodland Church of Christ, Woodland. Surviving are two sons, John H. Steiner and Elwood Steiner, both of Morrisdale R.D.; eight grandchildren: Cindy Lauder, Randy Steiner, Sandy Steiner, John Steiner and Chester Steiner, all of Morisdale R.D., Helen Albert of Clearfield, Dawn Klett of West Decatur, and Shery Lockrought of Ellwoood City: and Eight Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents:her son, Leslie Steiner and her husband, Harold W. Steiner, whom she married on April 13, 1939 in Clearfield, and who died in 1988. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, with Brother Kenneth Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Summit Hill Cemetery, MorrisdaleR.D. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Satruday from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Sunday until the time of services.
