Suggested Edit: Avis Jean Copp, 86, died Friday, July 6, in the Sargent Nursing Home.
Mrs. Copp was born Dec. 4, 1903, in Loup County to Elmer and Cora Ellis Austin. She attended school at the Dri Valley School in Loup County and graduated from Taylor High School. She also attended Charon State and Kearney State colleges. In 1925, she married Lee Copp and he passed away in 1930. On April 29, 1939, she married Curtis Copp. He passed away in 1984. She taught school in various Nebraska Schools.
She is survived by one daughter, Avilee Honeywell of Roseville, Calif.; two sons, Jack of Sun City, Ariz. and Keith of Comstock; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Boyd Austin of Broken Bow.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands, two sisters, one brother, and a grandson.
