Pauline passed away peacefully in San Diego, CA Sunday, March 21, 2010 with her family by her side.
Pauline was born September 28, 1923 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of eleven children born to James and Elizabeth Standridge.
Pauline married Eugene Garrett May 22, 1944 in Riverside, CA while Eugene was stationed at March Air Force Base. They raised their two children in Calipatria, CA where she was very active in the Baptist Church. She was delighted with her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Gene Garrett; and son Gene "Junior" Garrett.
Pauline is survived by her brother Joe Standridge; daughter Helen "Snooks" White and husband Rick White; daughter-in-law Lou and husband John Castillo of Redding, CA; grandsons, Aaron Garrett, Todd White, Doug (Shannon) Garrett, Randy (Jenni) White, Jeff (Amanda) Garrett, and Tim White; great-grandsons, Cody, Brandon, Jared and Caden; and great-grand- daughters, Jessica, Taylor and Megan.
Graveside services will be held at Riverside National Military Cemetery on Tuesday, March 30 at 12 p.m.
