Floyd Alfred Tootle
Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma May 12, 1913. Died in Sun City, Florida October 1, 2005. The son of Thomas E. and Hattie M. Tootle of Visalia, California. Resident of Visalia from 1940 until 1990.
Resident of Conway, Georgia and Riverview, Florida until his death in 2005. Brother of Milton, Otis, Allen, and Orin (Bill) Tootle.
He married Leona Wilma Tootle in Visalia on December 25, 1938 in the Church of Christ and reared two sons, Jerry E. and Dan C. Tootle.
They were together in marriage for 66 years until the death of Floyd. They are survived by their sons and families; seven grand-children, and ten great-children.
His mingled ashes are laid to rest in the
Visalia Public Cemetery along with many members of the Tootle and Ashford families. He has come home to await the glorious day of resurrection.
Graveside service 10 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Visalia District Cemetery. Arrangements are by Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
