*****************
KELLY, --- Chas. f. Kelly was born November 4, 1856, and died at his home in Huntington township, Gallia County, Ohio, on the 30th of April 1888. He was united in marriage to Miss Centia Lane March 30, 1879, by Rev. B W Mason.

He was the father of three children --- two sons and one daughter.

He was sick for more than a year preceding his death. Sometime after his sickness began, he wrote to a brother that he had given up this world and was preparing for a better. Several months ago, when visited by his parents, he said, "Thank God for mother," and he said to his father that he thanked him for having brought him up to trust in the Savior. To others he expressed the same trust in the Lord. He has always been a moral and upright man, trusted by all who knew him. Sometime before his death he made a public profession of religion, was baptised, and joined the United Brethren church. It seemed hard for him in early life to leave his pleasant home, his beloved wife and children, and all his plans and labors in life, but he was resigned to his lot, and was willing to depart and be with Christ.

For several years in earlier life he had been a teacher, but of late years he was occupied in farming.

He will be sadly released from his home and from the large circle of his kindred and acquaintenances, but those who loved him most feel that he has only gone before them to a home at God's right hand.

He has gone to his God, he has gone to his home,
No more amid peril and error to roam;
His eyes are no longer dim,
His fee will no more falter;
No grief can follow him,
No pang his cheek can alter.
