(There is a discrepancy on the date of birth for Mary Anice (Mills) TEPE. The gravestone shows that she was born in 1871; however, her death certificate states that her date of birth was September 1, 1872.)


OBITUARY

Mrs. Mary Alice TEPE, age 61, wife of B. F. TEPE, general manager of the White House Lumber Co., died early Friday morning in a hospital in her home city of Canadian. She had been ill for several months. Funeral services were held at three o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Canadian Christian church with Rev. J. R. Brimberry, officiating.

There survive four children, Misses Vera, Velma ad Opal TEPE, and Clifford TEPE, besides the husband. Four sisters and one brother remain.

Mrs. TEPE was the former Miss MILLS of Peculia, Cass County, Missouri. She moved with her family to Kansas when six years old, and in 1899 married Mr. TEPE in Canadian.

Interment was in the Canadian cemetery.
