Mr. Alpha G. Ashford, 49, of 1906 McGougan Street, Fayetteville, NC. died Thursday at Bladen Co. Hospital, Elizabethtown, NC.
Mr. Ashford is survived by his wife, Angela M. Ashford of Dunn, NC; his mother, Nadean Ashford of Dunn, NC; three daughters, Andea, Alisa and Jalicia Ashford all of Dunn, NC; three sons, Alpha G. Ashford, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; Lamont Murphy and Alvin Ashford both of Dunn, NC; five sisters, Ester Sampson and Selena Faison both of Clinton, NC; Cassandra Fuller and Lavora Richard both of Fayetteville, NC; and Leatrice Hall of Germany, four brothers, Wendle Boone of Macon, GA; Terrell Boone of Newton Grove, NC; Barrett Ashford and Joseph Ashford both of Dunn, NC; three grandchildren.
The family recieved friends at the Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home in Clinton, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 1pm to 7pm.
The funeral services were held at 1pm, Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Keener, NC.
Burial was made in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC.
