She was born March 15, 1890, in Layton, Davis County, Utah, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Campkin Evans. She was reared and educated in Layton.
She married Wilford Forsgren in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 14, 1913. They made their home in Layton, later moving to Tremonton. She has resided in Brigham City and Willard for the last several years.
She was a member of the LDS Church. Her husband died March 15, 1952.
Surviving are the following 11 sons and daughters:
Wallace E. Forsgren, Ogden; Thomas W. Forsgren, Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs Viola Hollingshead, Lynnwood, California; Lt Commander Howard J. Forsgren, South Weymouth, Massachusetts; O'Dean Forsgren, Wichita Falls, Texas; Walter E. Forsgsren, Junior Forsgren, Arvil T. Forsgren, all of Willard, Utah; Herbert E. Forsgren and Floyd Burdett Forsgren, both of Brigham City, Utah; Mrs Marjorie Olsen, Whittier, California. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs Martha Green, Mrs Anna Allen, Mrs Emma Allen; and two brothers, Jack Evans and Elmer Evans, all of Layton, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Ruth C., her parents, and 2 sisters, Elizabeth and Ruth.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 4, 1955, in the Willard LDS ward chapel with Bishop William Kunzler officiating. Friends may call at the Felt Mortuary Sunday from 7 tp 9 pm and Monday prior to services.
Internment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
