Laurence Earl DeSear, 87, of Oneco, a lifelong resident of Manatee County, died Jan. 31, 2010.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Samoset Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gillette Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Reta of Oneco; daughters Sonja Hoggard and Yvette Thormodson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
