Charles Dawson Barnes, 85, of Kissimmee, died May 11 in Ridgeland, S.C.Born May 24, 1909, in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of L.W. Barnes and Bertha DePue Barnes, he was a retired regional sales manager of Eaton Corp. of Cleveland, Ohio, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Columbus, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Bauer; daughter, Charlene Beth Barnes, Melbourne; stepsons, Jon Michael Ledman, Sacramento, Calif., Daniel Joseph Patrick, Kissimmee; stepsister, Hazel Vesculis, Silver City, N.M.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 16 at the Agosta Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
