WINTERS - Viola L. Winters of 530 Birch Street, Junction City passed away November 24, 1976 at the age of 53. She was born May 27, 1922 in Melletti County, South Dakota and had been a resident of this vicinity for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Helmuth Bucholz in 1939 and later by her second husband, Ray Winters in 1962. Surviving are 3 children: Shirley Weaver of Exeter, California, Julia Mae Ramsey of Lander, Wyoming, and Robert Bucholz of Springfield; 2 brothers: Robert and Edward Owens both of Eugene; 4 sisters: Eileen Phillips, Mary Johnson and Donna Slocum all of Harrisburg and Cathy Slocum of Junction City; her mother and stepfather: Mr. and Mrs. Simon Richards of Eugene; 6 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 29th, at 10 a.m. in Lane Memorial Gardens, Reverend Kurt Imbach officiating. POOLE-LARSEN CHAPEL in charge of arrangements.
