"Abbott Adams, formerly of this city, died at his home in New York, Thursday evening of complications. He resided in New York for the past forty-five years and for a number of years was connected with the show business, having played prominent parts with Richard Carle and William Hodge. He also managed several productions.
He is survived by one son, Abbott, Jr., Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Gunnion, of this city and Mrs. I. C. Buser, Philadelphia and two brothers, Frank and Jake Adams, both of this city.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed."

Services for Abbott Adams, formerly of Lancaster, who died at his home in New York City Thursday, were held at the Cannon and Long funeral parlors today with interment in Woodward Hill cemetery."
