Jack R. McBroom, 74, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 26, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Christian Heritage Church with the Rev. Lloyd Burd officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mr. McBroom was born in Amarillo and was a plasterer for Art Craft Plastering Co. until his retirement in 1984. He served with the Army during World War II and was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Mayfield and Bobbie Ross, both of Amarillo, and Dannie Duckworth of Elgin; a brother, Jim McBroom of Amarillo; two sisters, Estelle Davis of Hereford and Betty Patton of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson, Amarillo, TX 79104.
