Jessie Ruth Abshire, 84, of Winnie, Texas, went to be with our Lord on September 15, 2010.
Jessie was a life long resident of Winnie and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crochet, playing cards, reading her bible, playing with her grandchildren and making cookies for them.
Jessie is survived by her husband, Oran Abshire; son, Tim Abshire and his wife Jeanie; daughter, Ann Donnahoe; brother, Addison White; sisters, Bessie Schmuck, Joyce Kent and Mary Carouthers; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Owens and great-grandson, Dereck Munoz.
