WILLIAM HILL, 76, DIES AT OTTUMWA
William M. Hill, 76, longtime resident Lucas county resident, died Thursday evening at the Ottumwa hospital. He had been in failing health several months. He was a retired custodian of the Chariton public schools.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Miley Chapel, with A. O. Smith, assisted by the Rev. Franklin Prindle, officiating. Interment was at the Chariton cemetery.
Besides his wife, Hannah, his is survived by several sons and daughters.
